In the afternoon, the murmur of the Urubamba River will accompany you like a gentle lullaby before going to sleep. The next day, the trail to the Mountain of Seven Colors grows before you in impossible ranges: how many landscapes would have rested so long undiscovered? Few travel this path before the light reveals its reddish and golden stripes.

Day 1: Ancestral Connection in Machu Picchu

Start 4:00 a.m. / End 10:00 p.m.
Transfer by ecological bus from Cusco to Ollantaytambo, bordering sacred valleys.
Travel on The Voyager or Expedition scenic train, with endless views of mountains and mist.
Bus up (25 min) to the Machu Picchu gateway.
Guided visit (2 h 30 min) to the Temple of the Sun, Sacred Square, Sacred Rock, Terrace of the Water Mirrors, Royal Residence and Temple of the Three Windows.
Free time for your personal offering at the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) or optional ascent to Huayna Picchu.
Return to Aguas Calientes for lunch(lunch not included).
Return train and final bus to Cusco under the stellar mantle.

Day 2: Rainbow Trail in Vinicunca

Start 4:00 a.m. / End 4:30 p.m.
Pickup at your hotel and transportation by tourist bus along the route of the Andean communities.
Challenging hike (2 h approx.) through high altitude trails, crossing glaciers, wetlands and snow-capped mountains.
Top of the Seven Colors Mountain: a geological spectacle of reds, greens and yellows under the Andean sun.
Picnic lunch with local flavors before descending.
Return to Cusco, culminating your journey of discovery and inner renewal.

We always stay at here when in town. The location is great, staff is wonderful and we love the overall feel. Beautiful view from the here.

It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
